Grenade found in traded-in car at Glendale dealership

Glendale Police responded to a report of a grenade found in a parked car in Glendale Wednesday afternoon.

Glendale Police responded to a report of a grenade found in a parked car on Foothill Blvd. in Glendale Wednesday afternoon.

The grenade was found in a car at the Bob Smith Toyota dealership. The car was reportedly traded in and was being reconditioned.

Employees found the grenade and reported it. Police established a perimeter and were set to evacuate people in the area.

An L.A. County Sheriff's Bomb Squad unit was summoned to investigate.
