An Orange County special-education teacher is under investigation following dozens of complaints alleging he physically and psychologically abused students.

According to one complaint filed by a teacher's aide and obtained by Eyewitness News, Daniel Lentini mistreated students at Taft Elementary School in Orange.

The complaint says Lentini teased some of them to the point of crying, stood with both feet on their backs, sat or laid on them with his full body weight and even straddled a student while the boy was sitting in a chair facing him.

There are also accounts of rough playing, punching and grabbing students harshly by the neck, arms and legs.

According to the Orange County Register, Lentini is now on paid administrative leave while officials investigate the allegations.
