YORBA LINDA, Calif. --An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 struck two miles east-northeast of Yorba Linda shortly after midnight Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, a 4.1-magnitude temblor struck the same area around 1:30 p.m.
Several earthquakes have hit the Yorba Linda area this month. Two magnitude-4.5 quakes struck on Aug. 8.
There were no reports of injury or damage.
