A citizen reported an unconscious female in a canyon in Lincoln Park at about 9 p.m. Monday, according to the San Diego Police Dept. Police and paramedics responded and found the female in grave condition. She was hospitalized and remained unconscious until the next day.
Sex Crimes Unit detectives investigated and determined the victim, 16, had consumed large quantities of alcohol with several other teens at the location.
Police said the girl passed out, and several of the teens sexually assaulted her over the course of several hours, and did not call for help.
Three of the arrested suspects are juveniles, including two 17-year-old males and a 14-year-old female. The fourth suspect was identified as Raatib Prince, 18.
Prince was charged with sexual assault and booked into County Jail. The unidentified teens were charged with sexual offenses and booked into Juvenile Hall.
