Ventura County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to an Oxnard residence by a report of a person with a gun on Nov. 2. Responding deputies found two adults who had been assaulted after two suspects forced their way into the residence located on the 2500 block of Eucalyptus Drive. The suspects brandished firearms and stole property from the resident.

The second victim was injured when a neighbor attempted to intervene as the suspects departed, according to the sheriff's department. The suspects fled. Both victims received medical treatment.

The Sheriff's Gang Unit investigated the incident and identified three suspects connected to the crime: William Arthur and Thomas Hartley allegedly performed the robbery, and Crystal Cabral drove the suspects away.

All three were arrested and booked on various charges including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment by violence.
