Wen is part of the ensemble cast in the action filled series. She says everyone will be able to relate to the show even if you're not super familiar with the Marvel Comics movie universe.
"Every person, especially family, who wants to have a family entertainment, there's gonna be humor in it, there's a lot of action in it, and its stories about people who are struggling and trying to identify themselves and make connections with others," said Wen. "I think those are all universal themes that anyone can relate to."
The small team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents will handle strange cases throughout the season, which will remain suitable for children.
"I'm a mom with two amazing kids, you know, and it's really important to have shows where I can be entertained as well as enjoy sharing moments with them," said Wen. "For me right now, the coolest part about my job is to have a show that my family, my kids can watch."
