A suspect was wanted in connection with a shooting near the area of Springdale Street and Bolsa Avenue at about 9 p.m., according to Huntington Beach Police. The victim was struck in the back by a bullet but was expected to survive.
Police officers spotted the suspect vehicle and began pursuit. The suspects may have fired shots during the pursuit, according to police.
The suspect vehicle crashed on Heil Avenue east of Beach Boulevard at about 9:25 p.m. Two suspects were taken into custody.
