VIDEO: International Space Station passes over LA area in front of moon

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Did you see it? The International Space Station passed over the Los Angeles area right in front of the moon Friday night!

It happened around 6:40 p.m.

To give you a little perspective on size, when this video was captured, the moon was roughly 225,000 miles farther away than the ISS.
