5 injured, 2 critically after tree falls at Ojai elementary school

OJAI, Calif. (KABC) -- Five people were injured, two of them critically, after a tree fell at Topa Topa Elementary School in Ojai Monday, according to Ventura County fire officials.

The injured included one teacher and four students, officials said. Of those injured, two were listed as critical, two were moderate and one was minor.

Those with critical and moderate injuries were transported to a local hospital. One patient was airlifted to a trauma center.
