America Ferrera ambushed at Cannes: Prankster Vitalii Sediuk crawls under her dress

CANNES, France -- Sir, step away from Ugly Betty!

On Friday, May 16, America Ferrera became the latest victim of notorious serial prankster of celebrities, Ukrainian TV reporter Vitalii Sediuk. At a screening of the animated movie "How To Train Your Dragon 2" at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in France, the 30-year-old actress posed for photos on the red carpet with her co-stars when Sediuk proceeded to get down on the floor and put his head under the flowing skirt of her lemon chiffon Georges Hobeika Spring 2014 Couture ball gown.

Fellow film actor Kit Harington, best known as Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," immediately turned towards the man and security officers rushed to the scene as he lay sprawled on the carpet. They then escorted him away, as the actors watched. Sediuk, who sported a press pass and regularly covers celebrity events for Ukrainian TV channel Studio 11, has not commented.

At first, Ferrera appeared shocked and upset and was comforted by co-star Cate Blanchett. But she quickly recovered and continued down the red carpet, smiling and taking pictures.

Sediuk has made headlines over the years for kissing Will Smith at the premiere of "Men in Black 3," hugging Bradley Cooper in an inappropriate place at the 2014 SAG Awards and crashing Adele's acceptance speech at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
