3 bank robbery suspects still on the loose

CRENSHAW DISTRICT (KABC) Five suspects robbed a Downey Savings and Loan in Costa Cesa Tuesday morning, drove about a block, and switched to a black SUV. Police chased them to the Crenshaw District.

During the pursuit, the suspects threw cash out of the SUV.

The chase ended when the SUV crashed into a tree outside the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. The suspects jumped out.

Authorities arrested two men and searched shoppers, but did not find the other three.
