Man hit, killed while changing tire

PARAMOUNT Authorities said a woman in her 20s driving a pickup truck rear-ended the victim's car as he was changing his tire shortly after midnight in Paramount.

The victim, identified as Yong Kim of Brea, was killed instantly, and the woman was seriously injured.

One lane of the 105 Freeway was shut down for several hours but has since re-opened.

Police did not say if the woman will face any charges.
