The victim, 45-year-old Hsiao Hsu, was found shot to death in her upscale home in Covina Hills on March 19.

The crime has left the community shaken.

"I'm glad that they caught them for the family, but I think the community is still going to be really scared because after the actual initial murder happened, we were told that they were running through people's backyards, and so everyone was on lockdown," said local resident Alma Lopez.

What happened in that home as changed the community.

"So many people, they're afraid," said local resident Alda Nasir.

Residents are on alert, but Hsu had also taken precautions, with security cameras and alarms -- precautions that were not enough.

According to the DA's Office, the four teens, two boys and two girls, have been charged in the case, and appeared in court earlier this month.

According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, one has been identified as 19-year-old Christopher Santana. Police believe Santana is the one who pulled the trigger and killed Hsu.

The three others in custody are minors.

The fifth suspect is identified as 19-year-old Victor Maurtua, a suspected gang member, known to frequent the Baldwin Hills area.

If Martua or Santana are convicted, they could be facing the death sentence, and the minors could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.

No motive for the murder has been revealed. Anyone with information is asked to call Los Angeles County Sheriff Homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500.
