Heart disease death rates down sharply

These numbers mean the American Heart Association has met it's 2010 goal of a 25 percent drop a year early.

While this may sound reassuring, experts say heart disease still accounted for about 1 out of every 3 deaths in the U.S. in 2006.

Also, obesity levels remain high and too few Americans meet recommended guidelines for physical activity.
