Crystal feels that she gets something back when she gives her time to seniors.
"They make me laugh. They always have stories. They always make me feel good," says Crystal. " I like to be around them."
Even with a daylong event like /*PADRES Contra El Cancer*/, she knows it is all worthwhile.
"I might be tired, I might wake up so early in the morning, spend all day here 'til dark. But, at the end I know I've done something good," says Crystal.
Crystal enjoys her time with children and they certainly love having her around. That's enough for her to do the event again and again.
"I just like to keep coming back. I know we're making a difference in their lives and I want to keep doing that," says Crystal.
