Body found in midst of commercial fire

ANAHEIM, Calif. Firefighters were called to the backside of a commercial building in the 1000 block of Shepard Street just before 8 p.m.

The blaze quickly turned into a three-alarm fire.

Once crews put out the flames, they discovered a burned body in the driver's seat of a Nissan 300ZX parked inside the business.

Police are considering all possible scenarios, including suicide.

The victim's name has not been released, but police said they know who owns the car.

"We have traces that vehicles and it does come back to a current employee," said Sgt. Rick Martinez from the Anaheim Police Department.

"Right now, we're trying to locate information on that employee and wait for the coroner's information and confirmation that it is who we believe it is. However, that's going to take some time," he said.

Authorities are unsure if the victim was already dead at the time of the fire, or if the person was killed by the fire.
