S.D. wants seal removal order lifted

SAN DIEGO, Calif. The city attorney says the request will be made Thursday and the city will appeal if the judge refuses.

Activists have waged a decade-long court battle over whether the cove should be reserved for humans or seals.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
