Lisker, freed from jail, due in court

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. Bruce Lisker was freed last week from Mule Creek State Prison near Sacramento. He was accused of beating and stabbing his 66-year-old mother to death.

A judge overturned the conviction, saying Lisker was the victim of false evidence and sloppy defense work.

Prosecutors are not yet saying whether they plan to appeal the ruling or retry him.
