October 22, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
The Japanese are using a robot to help doctors diagnose swine flu.The human-looking robot was unveiled at a Tokyo trade show.

The robot was developed to help medical workers recognized the symptoms of the illness.

It has human-like skin, sweats, moans, cries and convulses, just like a human would when infected with the H1N1 virus.

If the robot is not treated properly, the symptoms gradually get worse, and the robot stops breathing.
