Man breaks into couple's home, hides in closet

SUNLAND, Calif. The husband said he went downstairs to investigate and found a man, who ran upstairs and hid in a closet.

The wife called 911 and got a rifle, which the husband used to hold the man at bay until police arrived. The wife said the man kept claiming someone was trying to shoot him and he wanted to hide.

Police say the man, whose identity was not released, injured himself while breaking into the home. He was taken to the hospital and treated for the injuries.
