Arrest made for fatal shooting of teenager

San Bernardino police have arrested a teenage suspect in the fatal shooting of a juvenile victim Wednesday night.Both the victim and the suspect are 16 years old. Investigators say the two were supposed to be friends.

Officers were called to a home on the 400 block of South Rancho Avenue following a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found the victim in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics later pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Detectives arrested a 16-year-old juvenile in connection with the case. The suspect has been booked at Juvenile Hall on a murder charge.
