LOS ANGELES --
A woman narrowly escaped serious injury when her car was hit by a Metrolink train. The collision happened at 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Buena Vista Street and Vanowen Street in Burbank. The train had left Moorpark and was headed for downtown Los Angeles. The woman says her car got stuck on the tracks. She saw the train coming and abandoned her vehicle.
The woman was not hurt, and no one on the train was injured. After a one hour delay, the train continued on its route.
