Los Angeles county fire officials said the fire has burned about 15 acres so far and is 85 percent contained.
Fire officials said a car went over the side of the road, while driving near Glendora Mountain Road and Big Dalton Canyon Road.
That driver is said to be in good condition.
About 115 firefighters responded to the fire, and at least two helicopters are providing air support.
