HELENA, Mont. The baby goats spent nearly two days stranded on a six-inch ledge.

Officials had to call the operators of a nearby /*coal mine*/, who actually had equipment with an arm long enough to reach the frightened animals.

The rescue effort went smoothly, and the goats are doing fine.

Authorities are trying to find their owner.
