A panel of six women and six men began considering 11 charges on Tuesday, after nine weeks of testimony and arguments.
The jurors must decide whether the defendants provided excessive opiates and sedatives to the former Playboy model knowing she was an addict.
Defense lawyers have argued that she was not an addict and the medications were for pain.
The three defendants are not charged in Smith's 2007 overdose death in Florida.
