23-yr-old woman rescued from swollen LA River

Swift water rescue crews had to fight stormy weather to help a woman who fell into the rain-swollen Los Angeles River.Crews with the Long Beach Fire Department pulled a 23-year-old woman out of the water Saturday.

She was put into an ambulance and taken to a hospital.

She's said to be in good condition as of Sunday morning.

Firefighters said she accidentally slipped and fell into the river. Dozens of firefighters helped with the rescue effort.
