Yves Rossy, known for daredevil stunts with a jet pack on his back, performed the stunt Saturday with little fanfare. Rossy launched himself from a helicopter at 8.000 feet and spent close to eight minutes in the air.
He was planning to make the flight on Friday, but he decided that he needed a practice run, so the stunt was pushed back to Saturday.
On previous outings, Rossy has flown over the Swiss Alps and the English Channel.
