Teacher arrested for allegedly trying to give drugs to undercover cop

SANTA CLARITA, Calif.

Ashraf Boulos Hindi, 29, is a math teacher in the William S. Hart Union High School District in Santa Clarita.

Detectives said he went to a motel in Camarillo on Saturday to meet a woman he met on the Craigslist website.

He promised to bring drugs. The woman was an undercover detective.

Hindi faces several drug charges.
