Ivan Felipe Cerda is being held on $100,000 bail for deprivation of custody of a child.
Police said Cerda met Stephanie Rodriguez on a social networking website. He picked her up from her Whittier home Friday afternoon.
Investigators found the two Saturday morning near Anza, east of Temecula. The pair reportedly visited his parents near Oceanside.
Investigators have determined that Rodriguez was not sexually abused.
