Charlie Sheen has admitted that he used steroids while filming the 1989 movie "Major League."

Sheen played star pitcher Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in the film.

In a new interview, he told Sports Illustrated that the steroids helped speed up his fastball in the film. He went from throwing 79 mph up to 85 mph.

Sheen said it was the only time he's ever taken steroids, adding that besides making him stronger, the drug also made him more irritable.
