Golf outing held for local girl with rare disease

Cri du Chat affects one in every 70,000 people. They're missing part of their fifth chromosome and most kids who have the syndrome don't speak.

Olivia's mother says, "They say their life span is not going to be too long. They're not going to walk, they're not going to talk. You get a pretty grim diagnosis and it turns out that that's not usually the case. We're very lucky that she talks pretty well and a lot."

All the money raised today goes to the 5P Society, which helps support families and research dealing with Cri du Chat.
