Authorities responded to the area of Pepper Tree Lane near 7th Street at about 3:40 a.m. The suspect refused to come out for several hours.
It was unknown if the suspect was armed, but nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
The man surrendered shortly after 8 a.m., police said. No one was injured in the incident.
