The Sherman Oaks couple built a 6-foot-6-inch wall last year to shield their home from celebrity photographers trying to get a shot of LaBeouf.
The wall was installed without city permits and its height violates zoning laws.
Wednesday, however, the Los Angeles City Council took up the matter. Members voted unanimously to allow the couple to keep the wall.
