Five people were arrested Sunday on suspicion of burglarizing Moorpark High School on Oct. 24.

Moorpark High School held a basketball tournament on Oct. 24 for local club teams.

Five basketball players from one of the clubs allegedly broke into the student store on campus and one classroom, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Dept.

The suspects allegedly stole electronic devices and items of apparel, according to the department.

The burglary was captured on the school's surveillance video.

The Moorpark School Resource Officer was able to identify the five suspects, who are students at a different high school in Ventura County.

The five suspects were arrested Sunday and were held in juvenile hall, according to the sheriff's department.

The department said some of the stolen items were recovered and returned to Moorpark High.
