The Resorts World Casino, which is located in Queens, opened on Friday.
The goal is to bring another $500 million in taxes to New York state by keeping customers and cash from going to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and other casino spots.
So far it's been a big hit, with thousands lining up on opening day to get in.
