Authorities responded to the 32100 block of Via Carlos after a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, they heard a woman screaming.
Officers forced entry into the home and were confronted by a man with a knife. A deputy-involved shooting occurred, and the suspect was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
