The nation's top 800-meter runner has found an interesting method of gaining sponsorship for the 2012 Olympics.

Nick Symmonds utilized an eBay auction to offer the highest bidder a chance to temporarily tattoo a Twitter name on his shoulder.

The auction closed on Friday with a winning bid of $11,100.

No word yet on what Twitter address the winning bidder chose, but Symmonds said he's pretty flexible.

"I am prepared to put @ilovejustinbieber on my arm," he said. "I reserve the right to have final say on what goes on my shoulder."

However, the temporary tattoo will have to be covered up for some events.
