Stephen Colbert holds humorous rally; calls for support for Herman Cain

January 20, 2012 12:00:00 AM PST
Comedian Stephen Colbert held a political rally with a humorous twist in South Carolina, calling for voters to support one Republican who has already dropped out of the race: Herman Cain.

"So it is my great honor to introduce to you the Her-Man with a plan. The plan so fine they named it 999. The mad max of the flat tax, the Indiana Jones of opportunity zones, the Her-Man, Her-Myth, the brother from another mother, Mr. Herman Cain," Colbert said.

Although Colbert urged the crowd to vote for Cain, the former candidate said people should vote for anyone but himself.

On a serious note, Cain challenged the audience to get out and vote on Saturday, and then ended the rally by singing to the crowd about believing in themselves.
