5-star basketball prospect commits to UCLA

LOS ANGELES

Parker is rated as the No. 26 overall prospect by ESPNU and he will be joined by three fellow ESPNU 100 prospects in small forward Jordan Adams, point guard Kyle Anderson and shooting guard Shabazz Muhammad.

Muhammad, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect according to ESPN, committed to UCLA on April 11 and stated during his announcement the intention to convince Parker to join him in Westwood. Adams, a fellow Georgian, along with Anderson, have been recruiting Parker since they committed in the fall as well.

The Bruins beat out Duke, Ohio State and Georgia for Parker's services and will now turn their focus to transitioning the highly touted freshmen into their program come summer.
