April 23, 2012 12:00:00 AM PDT
For the second time in less than two weeks, the UCLA men's basketball team received a commitment from a five-star high school prospect. Tony Parker, a center out of Georgia, gave his commitment to the Bruins, vaulting UCLA to the No. 1 spot in ESPN's recruiting class rankings.

Parker is rated as the No. 26 overall prospect by ESPNU and he will be joined by three fellow ESPNU 100 prospects in small forward Jordan Adams, point guard Kyle Anderson and shooting guard Shabazz Muhammad.

Muhammad, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect according to ESPN, committed to UCLA on April 11 and stated during his announcement the intention to convince Parker to join him in Westwood. Adams, a fellow Georgian, along with Anderson, have been recruiting Parker since they committed in the fall as well.

The Bruins beat out Duke, Ohio State and Georgia for Parker's services and will now turn their focus to transitioning the highly touted freshmen into their program come summer.
