The discovery was made just before 2:00 p.m. at the Budget Inn on the 1400 block of Crescent Boulevard.
Authorities arrived and found the man not breathing. Efforts to revive the victim were unsuccessful.
No word if foul play was a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
