Chrysler recalling nearly 120,000 vehicles

LOS ANGELES

The recall involves the 2011-2012 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Chargers.

The automaker says a fuse can overheat, causing the anti-lock brakes and stability control systems to malfunction.

Owners can take their cars to a Chrysler dealership, where they will place a new fuse in a new location where it won't overheat.

Chrysler said it is notifying owners who are affected, and the repair will be free of charge.

For more information, owners can contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle safety hotline at (888) 327-4236, or visit www.safercar.gov.
