Chino plane crash injures 1, prompts FAA investigation

CHINO, Calif.

It happened Friday morning when the pilot lost engine power while heading to Chino Municipal Airport. The single-engine Cessna 152 flipped over after striking a fence.

The impact tore apart one of the wings and badly damaged the other. A flight instructor and a student were onboard.

One of them was taken to the hospital with a head injury. The other refused treatment.
