Buckingham Palace said Queen Elizabeth II's husband, Prince Philip, has been released from the hospital.

The 91-year-old was hospitalized last Wednesday due to a bladder infection. The prince, also known as the Duke of Edinburgh, was described by nurses as a "very good patient."

The prince has been hospitalized three times in the last eight months. He was in the hospital for five days in June with a bladder infection. In December, he underwent a successful coronary stent procedure to clear a blocked artery.
