A 15-foot shark was spotted Monday near the entrance of Santa Barbara Harbor.
A fisherman told officials he saw the shark between Stearns Wharf and the breakwater, not far from where kayakers and paddle-boarders were in the water. The sighting is considered credible.
Warning signs were posted at 14 different locations near city beaches.
