A mama bear and baby bear were seen near Highland Oaks Drive and Woodland Avenue. The animals were roaming through backyards when police responded.
Officers had to get creative to scare the bears away, using their sirens and beanbag guns. The pair eventually went into the wash behind the homes and back into the wilderness where they came from.
