The academy held a special presentation on Monday.
The College Board of Trustees, fire academy cadets, Glendale Fire Department and city leaders were all on-hand for the unveiling of the new truck.
The fire engine features a 100-foot specialized ladder that allows firefighters to access taller and narrower buildings.
