The mother of a U.S. Army soldier shot at his welcome home party in San Bernardino says the district attorney's office has agreed to pay for his travel to testify at the trial.

Suzanne Sullivan says there's no timetable when her son Christopher will be flown to San Bernardino. He remains in a Texas hospital.

Sullivan moved to San Antonio following the shooting so he could receive treatment at a military hospital there.

Ruben Jurado is set to stand trial in November for the 2011 shooting that left Sullivan paralyzed from the neck down.
