Police received a call around 3 a.m. about a shooting at a house party in the 1300 block of west 37th Place in South Los Angeles.
One person was hit in the leg. There is no word on the victim's condition.
Around 300 officers raced to the scene and detained at least 50 people for a short time. They were later released.
Police say they have no suspects.
