Florida man sentenced to life in Bears fan killing; Matthew Hinson pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder in death of Lake Villa's William Pettry

Twenty-nine-year-old Matthew Hinson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the 2012 stabbing death of 42-year-old William Pettry.

The Lake Villa man was in Florida to attend a Bears-Jaguars game when Hinson slashed his throat at a Jacksonville bar.

Prosecutors say Hinson was jealous because Pettry was talking to Hinson's wife.
