A Maywood squad car and a police car from Melrose Park struck each other near Grant and 25th Street in Bellwood.
The Melrose Park officer was chasing a stolen vehicle at the time and police from several neighboring towns were helping.
A Maywood officer suffered minor injuries in the collision.
